Kathy Kau

Kathy Kau took over a Milwaukee neighborhood bar and reopened it as Kathy's Nut Hut in the early 1980s, building it into the city's longest-running women's bar. She brought the bar openly into the gay press in 1992 and also operated the women's video bar Hot Legs. She retired and sold the business around 2002.
