GSAFE (Gay Straight Alliance for Safe Schools) is a Madison-based nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ students, educators, and families to create equitable Wisconsin schools. Its roots reach to 1991 volunteer groups GLADE and GLEE; it became an independent 501(c)(3) in 2006 and now serves the full state through youth leadership programs, educator training, GSA support, and policy advocacy.
