Summary
The TAZZbah Bar & Grille operated at 1712 W. Pierce Street in Milwaukee from December 2004 to September 2007. Its principal owners included a former Boot Camp Saloon bartender known as Steve and Don Martinson, who together rehabilitated a run-down building into a bar with a wood-paneled front room and a terraced back deck. The bar added a kitchen and later a Sunday brunch, and hosted periodic leather nights. Its location well away from other gay bars limited its draw, and it closed at the end of August 2007.
