Switch
Milwaukee
Summary
Switch opened in May 1999 on West National Avenue, converted from a straight bar by its owner, Craig. It was known for large west-facing windows overlooking the Walker's Point bar district, a sizable back patio, foam parties, and a rare in-bar photo booth. After the In Between closed, Switch became a popular sports bar and Packers-party spot, and in later years was known for stripper nights and shirtless bartenders. It closed in July 2008 when its manager accepted an offer from the owner of a nearby bar.
