Summary
Club 200 East opened in June 2008 at 200 E. Washington Avenue, in the building long known as the lesbian bar Fannie's. It was another effort by Sharon Dixon, who had run Fannie's and later Pulse at the same address, to revive the location's popularity within the LGBTQ community. On New Year's Eve the bar was renamed Jack. The venture was brief, closing quietly in early 2011. The building hosted a succession of six LGBTQ bars over the years and was later demolished in September 2024.
